Modeled on the Kluson tuners used by Fender in the 1950s. There are several manufacturers that make this style of tuner - including the resurrected Kluson brand, but the ones you want are made in Japan by Gotoh. They are the best ones on the market in our opinion.

The difference between these and the FE-099-2040-000 tuners that we stock is that these have FENDER stamped into their back covers. Otherwise they are identical.

For the last couple of decades, if you bought a US Vintage Reissue Strat or Tele, or anything from the Custom Shop that used this style of tuner, they were Gotoh.

We buy these tuners from Fender.

These tuners are a joy to use. Cut the string to length, stick the cut end down into the hole in the center of the post, and tune. No string ends to poke your fingers, hence the original SafeTiString trade name. The original patent for this design was submitted in June of 1934 and a US patent was granted in 1936, they were subsequently manufactured by Fretted Instrument Mfrs. Inc. and sold by Oahu before Kluson licensed the patent. So they're an old design, but work as well today as they did 90 years ago!

Tip: counting the distance between two tuner posts as one unit, we cut the wound strings 2.5 units beyond the tuner post they'll connect to, and the plain strings 3.5 units longer. Using the A string as an example, we would pull it up to the headstock (pull it taut) and note the point on the string where it passes the A-string tuner post. Then add an additional 2.5 units (since it's a wound string) and cut it there. So that would be halfway between the G & B tuner posts. We find this rule of thumb provides sufficient wrapping to provide tuning stability. Always wrap the strings down the posts, never up, and never haphazardly. Nice, even, side-by-side wraps down the post until you've taken up all the slack.

Feels good on the skin not greasy
Size: 1.3 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Very nice product very concentrated has a very light fragrance that dissipates very quickly not greasy. No I do not have any redness or sensitivity I wanted to try this product anyway because I'm always looking for moderately priced good quality that travels well. And this fit the bill especially with it being on sale.

Good product , but
Size: 1.3 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Size: 1.3 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
It seems to be a good product and it’s not too heavy , but still caused few breakouts here and there . Also, Avenue always has protective foil on their cream , this one didn’t have (I replaced it but new one also didn’t have it). Also, it goes away really fast because it’s only 1.3 ounces.

Gold Star
Size: 1.3 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
This cream is truly gentle and healing for a compromised skin barrier. I prefer this cream in the winter, when the weather is dry, and after procedures like microneedling or laser. It has never irritated my skin, and does soothe and heal. The La Roche Posay cicalfate cream is also excellent, I think it is slightly less rich, so I prefer that in humidity or the summer.

Overpriced but it works.
Size: 1.3 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I hate that I love this product. It's stupid expensive. But it's great for broken/damaged/recovering skin. I've used it post microneedling and it is the only thing that soothes, hydrates, and doesn't sting raw, red skin. Great for rashes/hives and allergic reactions too. Luckily a thin layer is often enough to do the trick. so it lasts a long time I wouldn't use for everyday moisture, but when your skin is angry, this stuff works. (Overpriced? Yes. Witchcraft? Maybe. Does it work? Yep.)
